We have several Board Certified Veterinary Dentists around the country we can connect you with for advanced training. Your training would likely be 1:1 given the unique nature of the skillset. We work with Dr. Luskin within the NVA network as well as Drs. Vall and Niemiec. Reach out to us to discuss further advanced training opportunities.

Technician Training
Beyond pursing a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Dentistry, there are not many options of Techs to do advanced dentistry. If this is a passion for someone on your team please reach out to our Dental Program Coordinator.

Follow-on CE
The International Veterinary Dentistry Institute (IVDI) with Dr. Beckman is a great next option for continue advanced dental training such as root canals and advanced oral surgery courses. Reach out to us to discuss further.

Performing advanced techniques (bonded sealants (odontoplasty), root planing (open and/or closed) with perioceutics
DVM performing advanced oral surgery (Oronasal fistula repair, oral mass removal, gingivectomies…)
Following up with all stage 3-4 clients post exam to schedule for procedure
95% of patients are receiving a dental score in their medical record
Technicians and DVMs participating in ongoing CE
50% of technicians trained in dentistry with an on-boarding/training program in place for new hires
60% of DVMs trained in dentistry with an on-boarding/training program in place for new hires
10% revenue & 11-15% of pets receive dental treatment– recommended goal
