Maybe you had a few dental lectures in Vet school, maybe it has just been awhile.
Brush up (literally) on your dental basics in Tier 0.
Tier 0: Starting Point
-
DVM Training
The best training for DVMs at the Entry Level is our Virbac 1 Day Lecture & Wet lab.
This training is 8 hours of Race approved CE starting with the basics of periodontal disease + wet lab (incl. how to perform a complete dental prophylaxis) followed by a basic extraction wet lab (incl. radiology, pain management, elevation and extraction of single & two rooted teeth).
An added bonus is that this training is FREE to our DVMs (only cost of travel and accommodation comes from CE allowance).
-
Technician Training
Our NVA Dental Coordinator provides an excellent intro to dentistry course for Technicians at this level. Partner it with the Anesthesia 101/201 course and your technicians will have a great foundation.
-
Full Team Training
Midmark’s Best Practices Workshop will get your whole team excited about Dentistry!
This 8 hours Race approved CE covers why dentistry is important, oral anatomy review, steps to complete an oral exam, the “core” procedure, the “core” team, marketing and client education.
